About the Technology Loan Program, Your Library Checkout Model

Students who may not have off-campus access to the Internet can take advantage of our unique Kajeet for Education Technology Loan Program. Using a library checkout system as a model, your school can keep devices on the shelf and available for student use. The most commonly used device is a Kajeet SmartSpot™ that can provide 3G mobile broadband Internet access to any WiFi-capable device. When not in use, there's no cost - no rate plan or fees to worry about. When borrowed by a student outside of school, it is set to only access specific resources for the purpose it is being checked out for. This keeps the cost of providing equal access down substantially for a school with students suffering from inequity.
