This is a mobile learning project deploying a new application called Active Explorer on smartphones that allow teachers to build activities for students. It is being used in a demonstration project by AAAS in the sciences. Read more about AAAS here.

National Commission on Teaching and America's Future, TLINC 2.0 (Teaching and Learning in Networked Communities)

This project leverage smartphones and tablets to build Communities of Practice at over a half-dozen Colleges of Education across the country in pre-service teacher training programs. A special mobile app was developed to mobilize the EdWeb community for this project as well.
