Be a key player in the construction and maintenance of Company’s mobile handset platform, e-commerce platform, Web site, subscriber database, and customer care systems. Design, develop, and maintain the mobile website platform, e-commerce Web site platform with input from several internal customers including marketing, sales, product, and operations.
Your Responsibilities
Take a leadership role in defining our software and network architecture including careful analysis of integration across multiple geographically disperse systems that use different integration protocols. Identify, recommend, and manage vendors to provide software system elements and perform integration work. Perform UNIX systems administration. Perform Oracle systems administration. Implement improvements to the systems development process.
Your Qualifications
Master’s degree in CS, CE, INFS, or EE with at least one year experience as a Software Engineer, Application Developer, Programmer or in a closely related position.
Experience must include software development using Java/J2EE/J2ME; Mobile appln development with exposure to different mobile platforms; developing Internet based financial transaction software; OO Analysis and Design; SDLC and design patterns; Agile programming methodology; and JDBC and SQL with PL/SQL preferably Oracle.
Must also have experience with Web Services, SOAP, XML Schema, XSLT, JAXB, Axis2, JMS, and Linux environment, Tomcat application server, JSP, JSTL, MVC framework, Spring Application framework, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax, HTML, DHTML, and networking technologies, such as HTTP/S, and WAP. Requires a broad knowledge of the open source and commercial/e-commerce software landscape. Must be able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial startup environment.
