Growing up, I spent countless hours poring over jigsaw puzzles, sorting and resorting by color, pattern and shape all to find just the right piece to put in the right place. While a seeming passive activity, completing complex puzzles requires tenacity, organization, and strategy – all key elements required in the world of business startups. My professional life has always been about the right piece for the right place, whether launching new products/systems, solving problems, or supporting key business functions. Kajeet has provided me with the ultimate challenge and opportunity as I have touched nearly every aspect of the business from program management of the initial service rollout, to carrier management, fulfillment, customer care, billing, and software release management. In my current role, I am responsible for regulatory compliance and ensuring timely and successful rollout of new services.

Prior to kajeet, I cut my teeth in the software consulting and banking arenas before moving into telecommunications, where I have since spent the majority of my career. A good portion of my eleven years at MCI, and later Worldcom, was spent in the wireless space focusing on system integration, billing, carrier management, business process improvement, and program management. Two years at XM Satellite Radio supporting Customer Care and Operations through business process improvement and rollout of new systems, products, and services rounded out my professional experience.

As the parent of two teenagers, I have a true sense of the challenge that typical families face with managing technology for kids. There is so much to be gained, but the decisions can be overwhelming ranging from which device (cell phone, tablet, laptop, gaming console, etc.), to how to control, to how to pay. I see kajeet as the right piece to help parents and educators complete the technology puzzle.
