Welcome to Connected Conversations, our new spotlight series highlighting the faces, stories, and personalities behind Kajeet.
Morgan Lloyd is the VP of Public Sector & Channel at Kajeet and has been with the company for more than eight years. She has spent the past decade working in the edtech space, helping schools, libraries, and public sector organizations leverage technology to expand access and create meaningful opportunities for the communities they serve. Before transitioning into technology, Morgan spent seven years as a high school English teacher. That experience gave her a deep appreciation for the challenges educators face and continues to shape the way she approaches her work today.
Originally from North Carolina, Morgan spent much of her life there before relocating to the Northern Virginia/Washington, D.C. area. Today, she and her husband call California home.
Outside of work, Morgan enjoys staying active and taking on new challenges. A former Division II college softball player, she has also competed in bodybuilding competitions over the past five years. These days, she enjoys hiking, CrossFit, reading mystery novels, and unwinding with a video game. She and her husband also love traveling the world together and are always looking forward to their next adventure.
To learn more about Morgan's background and favorite hobbies, we sat down with her for a quick Q&A!
A: I'm proud of my team. Their hard work, determination, and willingness to support one another have created a strong sense of camaraderie that's made us successful. Seeing what we've accomplished together and knowing we've built a culture where people genuinely enjoy working as a team is something I'll always be proud of.

A: I love to travel, and Asia is my current bucket list travel destination!

Q: What are in your job do you feel like you excel at the most?
A: I feel I excel most at supporting others. I take pride in being a dependable resource who is always willing to help, share knowledge, and contribute to the success of both my teammates and the organization.

Q: What quality do you admire most in others?
A: I admire humility most because it is the foundation of truly great leadership and collaboration. In a professional setting, a humble person is a secure person, someone who is highly capable yet always eager to learn, and who prioritizes the success of the team over individual spotlight.
Ultimately, humility fosters an environment of mutual respect, open communication, and continuous growth, which I believe is the key to building strong partnerships and achieving meaningful results.

Q: Describe your perfect day off.
A: Dream day off is waking up at Disney and spending it entirely on a continuous loop of Guardians of the Galaxy at Epcot. However, I would settle for a scenic trail to hike, a gripping book to read, and the freedom to do absolutely nothing else.

Q: If Kajeet had a team mascot, what would it be?
A: A Swiss army knife! We are compact and agile, and our team packs a massive punch. We’re a diverse group of multi-talented, highly adaptable professionals, ready to deploy the exact skill or support a teammate at a moment’s notice. Small package, infinite solutions.
