It’s June, and for thousands of educators that means the end of school, but it also signals another year of ISTE! This year’s ISTE conference will be held in Chicago, IL, from June 24 through the 27.
Will you be there?
If you’re not attending this year you can still follow along with the event hashtag, #ISTE18.
If you are going, you may know there will be over 1,200 sessions to choose from. To help narrow down the list, we pulled together our five must-see sessions at ISTE, along with a few other important items to add to your ISTE agenda.

Closing the Homework Gap and ensuring all students have equal access requires many people to take action. A great resource to look over before this session is the Kajeet eBook on Closing the Homework Gap.
Digital equity is too big of an issue for school leaders to tackle alone. It constitutes a civil right to connect to needed resources - anywhere, anytime. Join and engage with community-based presenters who share how they leverage resources collaboratively to provide creative solutions and narrow the homework gap within communities.
Hear from district leaders on how technology can be used to close the Homework Gap, and empower students. Speaking on the panel is Kajeet customer, Diane Doersch with Green Bay Area Public Schools. Check out their story on closing the Homework Gap in Wisconsin.
