MCLEAN, VA. – Oct. 7, 2021 – Kajeet®, a leading provider of wireless connectivity, software and hardware solutions that deliver safe, reliable and controlled internet access, today announced the launch of its Early Childhood Learning Solution, an innovative online learning product specifically designed for early learners, pre-K through 3rd grade. The new solution qualifies for the FCC’s Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF), which provides 100% reimbursement to schools that provide broadband connectivity to students, staff and off-campus locations where remote learning occurs. The current ECF filing window closes on Oct. 13, 2021.
“Our new Early Childhood Learning Solution provides educators with the tools needed to prepare their youngest learners for achieving success while shielding them, when learning remotely, from inappropriate and harmful content,” said Michael Flood, senior vice president and general manager of Education at Kajeet. “We’re excited to offer this new solution, as well as new unlimited data plans across all Kajeet product lines – both part of a host of Kajeet solutions that demonstrate our commitment to eliminating the Homework Gap and creating greater digital equity among students of all ages.”
The four key benefits offered by Kajeet’s Early Childhood Learning Solution include:
Online safety for students: Through the use of Kajeet’s proprietary Sentinel platform, a device and data management portal that provides CIPA-compliant filtering at the network level, young users are protected from problematic content. Pre-defined templates can be modified to meet specific needs, all the way down to the device level.
Age-appropriate equipment: The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite weighs just over one pound and has an 8.7” screen that’s ideal for small hands. It also comes with a rugged case to protect against inevitable drops. The touchscreen format is more intuitive for young users than a laptop with a tactical keyboard.
Affordable, unlimited data plans: As with other Kajeet Solutions, the Early Childhood Learning Solution is supported by an unlimited data planoption. Schools no longer have to worry about unplanned expenses or frustrating data throttling when a data limit is exceeded. For schools that have existing equipment, data service can be transferred to Kajeet’s unlimited plans.
A lifetime of support: After customers consult with Kajeet’s sales and technical teams, each comprehensive Early Childhood Learning Solution is designed as a pre-kitted device that is ready to use out of the box and supported by a dedicated Kajeet account manager for the lifetime of the program.
