We’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) who’s eager to grow their sales career while making an impact. In this role, you’ll identify new opportunities in education, government, and nonprofit sectors, engaging prospects who care as much about equitable access to technology as you do.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct outbound outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn) to generate new leads and start meaningful conversations.
- Research and identify prospective customers using databases, digital tools, and industry events.
- Qualify prospects through consultative discovery — understanding their connectivity, IoT, and digital equity needs.
- Partner with marketing on targeted campaigns and follow up on inbound interest.
- Manage your active pipeline in Salesforce and share feedback that shapes our go-to-market strategy.
- Learn about funding programs (E-rate, ESSER, BEAD) that support digital access initiatives.
What You Bring
- 1–3 years of sales, lead generation, or business development experience — ideally in EdTech, SaaS, telecom, or public sector.
- Excellent communication, curiosity, and a genuine interest in helping organizations solve meaningful problems.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) and prospecting tools like ZoomInfo or SalesLoft.
- A self-starter mindset with strong organization and time management skills.
